Mission Statement

The mission statement of the Animal Control Department is to provide citizens, businesses and visitors to the City of Lake Worth with an animal control system that will reduce the number of unwanted animals and protect the health and safety of the public.

Vision

The Animal Control Department will become a more efficient and productive department by reducing the amount of waste and using new techniques. The closer monitoring of preventive programs such as vaccination programs, trapping and public education will improve the safety in the future.

The Animal Control is located at 4200 Fewell, Lake Worth Texas. Hours of operation are Monday through Friday from 7:30 am to 6:00 pm.
