Animal Problems?

 

Complaints:

If you have a complaint in reference to Animal Control, please contact us     (817) 237-1224. Or e-mail us at: animalcontrol@lakeworthtx.org

 

After Hours:

 Animal Control does not pick animals up after 6:00 pm or during Saturday and Sunday unless it is deemed an emergency. Below is an approved list of emergencies that the Animal Control will respond to.

Animal Bites

Wild animals endangering a person

bullet

Skunks (During Daylight Hours)

bullet

Bats (During Daylight Hours)

bullet

Snakes (Not Including Grass Snakes)

bullet

Dogs or cats hit by a car that is still alive

bullet

Animals that are dead on public streets

bullet

Suspected rabid animals

bullet

Aggressive animals that are endangering other animals or persons

bullet

     An animal that is needing to be impounded do to an arrest or seizure by the Police Department

bullet

If an Officer has determined cruelty to a animal
