New Trial

If you are found guilty, you may make a written motion to the court for a new trial within 1 day after the judgment of guilt has been rendered against you. You must specifically state why you believe you did not receive a fair trial. If you fail to state a reason why the judgment of guilty is wrong, you may not assert the mistake if you decide to appeal. The Judge will rule on your motion within 10 days.  The judge may grant a new trial if the judge is persuaded that justice has not been done in the trial of your case. Only one new trial may be granted for each offense.
