Lake Worth Towne Crossing Center

“The Lake Worth Towne Crossing Center is the largest commercial development to be built in Lake Worth,” said Walter Bowen, mayor of the City of Lake Worth.  “The national tenants that have been announced for the center will attract shoppers throughout Northwest Tarrant County and will make us a key shopping and dining destination in the area.   Folks who have been away from Lake Worth for a while will be amazed by the growth and the positive changes taking place here.  This development will create numerous job opportunities for citizens of Northwest Tarrant County and the surrounding cities.”

“For a town our size, the Towne Crossing Center will make a huge impact – not only in jobs, but in tax revenues that will benefit us for years to come,” noted Gary Goodman, president of the Lake Worth Economic Development Corporation.  “I have lived here for more than 60 years and have seen many changes over the years, but none as dramatic as the impact of this major shopping center.  We’re no longer the sleepy little town of my childhood but one of the fastest growing areas in the metropolitan area.  Our challenge will be to adapt to this rapid growth without losing the “hometown feel” that makes Lake Worth such a great place to live.”
