Position: Senior Center Aide (Part Time - 15 hours per week)

Department: Lake Worth Senior Center

Starting Pay: $10.06 per hour

Education: High School Diploma or GED

Description: Assists with daily operations at the City's Senior Center; opens and/or closes the Senior Center and sets up and/or breaks down for events as needed; assists in the implementation of events and daily Senior Center activities; asnwers the telephone, takes messages, and distributes general information to the caller; and performs general hkousekeeping duties at the Senior Center and event locations.

Additional Requirements: Valid Class C Texas driver license required; must successfully pass drug screen and CCH background check.

Position: Police Officer

Department: Police

Starting Pay: $18.23 per hour/$39,332 annually or higher DOQ, w/Benefits

Education: Must have valid Texas Basic Peace Officer Certification or approved equivalent as accepted by TCOLE.

Description: Enforces federal, state and local laws and ordinances under general direction.  Performs various duties to support law enforcement activities as well as provide service to the citizens in an efficient and professional manner.

Requirements: Must pass a medical examination, polygraph, psychological and/or drug screen if required by the City of Lake Worth and/or the State of Texas.  A valid Class C Texas driver license is required.
