Position: Municipal Court Clerk (Part Time/18 hours per week)

Department: Municipal Court

Compensation: $10.06 per hour

Education: High School diploma or GED; one year related court experience and bilingual are preferred.

Description: Enforces federal, state, and local laws and ordinances under general direction.  Performs various duties to support law enforcement activities as well as provide service to the citizens in an efficient and professional manner.

Education: Must have current valid Texas Basic Officer Certification or approved equivalent as accepted by TCOLE.

Additional Requirements: Must pass a medical examination, CCH background check, polygraph, psychological and/or drug screen if required by the City of Lake Worth and/or the State of Texas.  Valid Class C Texas driver license.

Position: Water/Sewer Technician

Department: Public Works

Compensation: $12.42 per hour or higher DOQ w/Benefits

Description: Performs work necessary for the maintenance and repair of water mains, fire hydrants, wells, pump stations and customer water and sewer service lines, lift stations and sewer mains ensuring all safety regulations are followed to maintain public health.  

Education: High School Diploma or GED; some construction related experience and plumbing knowledge is preferred; must be able to use hand tools, power tools, and other equipment used in the maintenance of water & sewer systems; basic knowledge of materials used in water & sewer systems. 

Additional Requirements: Must pass a medical examination, CCH background check, and/or drug screen if required by the City of Lake Worth and/or the State of Texas; ability to obtain a Class C water license and Class I wastewater license within 2 years of employment.
