Position: Water/Sewer Technician

Starting Pay: $12.42 per hour or higher DOQ w/Benefits

Education: High School Diploma or GED; some construction related experience and plumbing knowledge is preferred; must be able to use hand tools, power tools, and other equipment used in the maintenance of water & sewer systems; basic knowledge of materials used in water & sewer systems.
Description: Performs work necessary for the maintenance and repair of water mains, fire hydrants, wells, pump stations and customer water and sewer service lines, lift stations and sewer mains ensuring all safety regulations are followed to maintain public health.
Requirements: Must pass a medical examination and drug screen; valid Class C Texas drivers' license; ability to obtain a Class C Water license within 2 years of employment.
