Position: Water/Sewer Technician

Starting Pay: $12.42 per hour or higher DOQ w/Benefits
Job Description: Performs work necessary for the maintenance and repair of water mains, fire hydrants, wells, pump stations and customer water and sewer service lines, lift stations and sewer mains ensuring all safety regulations are followed to maintain public health.
Education: High School Diploma or GED: some construction related experience and plumbing knowledge is preferred; must be able to use hand tools, power tools, and other equipment used in the maintenance of water & sewer systems; basic knowledge of materials used in water & sewer systems.
Requirements: Must pass a medical examination, drug screen and CCH background check; valid Class C Texas driver license; ability to obtain a Class C water license and Class I wastewater license within 2 years of employment.
