Michael Christenson retired from the Euless Fire Department in June 2007 after 26 years at the rank of Driver Engineer. In July 2007 he started his career with the City of Lake Worth Fire Department as shift Lieutenant. On April 1, 2011, Michael was appointed Chief of the Lake Worth Fire Department. He has an Associate Degree from Tarrant County College in Fire Technology. He is currently working on his Bachelor Degree from Columbia Southern University in Fire Science. He holds several certifications from TCFP and is a licensed Paramedic.
Michael has been married to his wife Kristi for 30 years and they have 2 sons and one grandson. Michael and Kristi live in the Parker County area. Michael enjoys all sports activities, camping and time with his family.
