The Lake Worth Fire Department is comprised of 13 career fire fighters and 2  volunteers.
The Fire Department has a four man engine crew on each shift that work a 24/48 schedule.  

The Fire Department serves the City of Lake Worth, Town of Lakeside, and parts of rural Tarrant County. Lake Worth FD  has an automatic mutual aid agreement with the Saginaw, Eagle Mountain, and Sansom Park Fire Departments on all structure fires.
