Regular hours for Animal Control are Monday through Friday 8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m., Saturdays and Sundays 10:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m.. All emergency calls for Animal Control service are handled via the Lake Worth Police Department Communications Center (817) 237-1224 after hours and on weekends and holidays.

Adopt A Pet

It's relatively easy to adopt a pet from the Lake Worth Animal Control Shelter.  The shelter usually has a variety of wonderful pets to choose from and our Animal Control Officers would be more than happy tell you about our less-complicated adoption process.  Alternatively, you can contact the shelter by calling (817) 237-1224 and an Animal Control Officer will gladly return your call.
