John Pringle 
Captain Pringle came to Lake Worth in the fall of 1984 initially as a Reserve Peace Officer. Captain Pringle has served the Lake Worth Police Department in the following positions:
Police Reserve Officer; Police Patrol Officer; Police Field Training Officer; Police Sergeant; Police Detective and Patrol Division Commander (Lieutenant)
Captain Pringle has previously been elected by his peers as "Reserve Officer of the Year" in 1984, "Patrol Officer of the Year" in 1995 and "Administrator of the Year" in 1997. After having attained the rank of "Eagle Scout" and having spent much time doing ride-alongs with the Hurst Police Department in his younger years, Captain Pringle went on to continue his studies at the University of Texas at Arlington. Captain Pringle currently holds an Advanced Peace Officer's Certificate and will soon begin Phase II of Leadership Command College.
