Brian Benningfield 
Lieutenant Benningfield came to the Lake Worth Police Department initially as a Police Patrol Officer in 1998. During his eleven year tenure, Lieutenant Benningfield has also served the department as a Police Sergeant and more recently Senior Detective.
Lieutenant Benningfield began his law enforcement career as a Jailor for the Tarrant County Sheriff's Office in 1997 while simultaneously attaining his Peace Officer License at the University of North Texas. Lieutenant Benningfield currently holds an Advanced Peace Officer Certificate.
Lieutenant Benningfield's significant departmental knowledge, experience and strong leadership qualities has been key since taking command of the following divisions:
