Liquor License Permits

Article 4.100 of the City Code of Ordinances governs establishments selling alcoholic beverages.

Pre-qualification packets from the Texas Alcohol and Beverage Commission (TABC) are submitted to the City Secretary's office for processing.  After processing, the pre-qualification packet is returned to the applicant for completion and submittal to TABC.  After approval through TABC, a City beverage license (Liquor License) then must be obtained.  Applications may be obtained at the Permit Department or by downloading a form here.  A copy of the approved state beverage license must be submitted along with the application and payment for the City license.  Applications for a Liquor License are processed through the Permit Department.  Licenses are good for one year and expire on the same date as the state license.  Licenses must be posted in a conspicuous place at all times.
