Mission Statement
This mission of the Parks and Recreation is to provide citizens and visitors to the City of Lake Worth with a clean and safe park system that will insure open space for the enjoyment of all.
Vision
To become a more efficient and productive department, by reducing the amount of waste and by using new techniques. The addition of preventive programs such as weed prevention, insect control, and construction of new parkland will improve the quality of life for all.
Park Rules:
1. Park hours are 8:00 am until 11:00pm
2. No motorized vehicles permitted on trails
3. All pets must be on leashes
4. Alcoholic beverages prohibited in parks City Ordinance # 694-A
5. No horses permitted in parks
6. No glass containers permitted
7. No wading, fishing, or swimming
