This mission of the Permits and inspections Department is to provide citizens, businesses, and visitors to the City of Lake Worth with the access and safety when in or around buildings in the city limits.

 Vision:

To become more efficient and productive, by reducing the amount of waste and using new techniques.

 The Following Information is intended only for informational purposes and to be used as a guide for questions you may have concerning a situation. Each project and permit is reviewed on an individual case-by-case basis concerning: building permits, garage sale permits, inspections, rental inspections, contractors, plumbing contractors, electrical contractors, mechanical contractors, general contractors, certificate of occupancy, itinerant merchants/solicitors, liquor licenses, temporary/portable sign permits, boat permits, water/sewer fee, city development information, waste hauler permit inspection check list, and grease abatement.
