For residents that live on the North Side of Lake Worth Blvd and Foster Drive have their trash picked up on Mondays and Thursdays. Residents that live on the South Side of Lake Worth Blvd will have their trash picked up on Tuesdays and Fridays.

Bulk Trash Pick Up Reminder:
Bulk Trash pick up is offered to the City of Lake Worth residents only. Such pick up is on a monthly basis during the last week of each calendar month, in which Monday through Friday all fall within that calendar week. Except for waste caused by a natural disaster, such waste shall not be placed on the ground at the designated pickup point earlier than 12:01 a.m. on the 20th day of each month. Any bulk placed prior to that is subject to Code Enforcement action.

Brush: Collection of brush will be limited to the amounts generated by the individual resident. Brush and tree limbs generated by a landscaping company or tree-trimming service will not be collected. Brush is to be tied and bundled no longer than 4 ft. in length and not more than 50 lbs in weight.
Missed Garbage Pick-Ups: Please contact Progressive Waste Solutions (IESI) directly at (817) 222-2221 for any missed garbage pick-ups.

Household Hazardous Waste Collection:
The City of Lake Worth participates with the City of Fort Worth Household Hazardous Waste Collection Program. Household Hazardous Waste (as defined under 40 CFR part 261) may be disposed at the City of Ft Worth Environmental Collection Center (ECC) located at 6400 Bridge St. A voucher must be obtained at the City of Lake Worth for $47. Proof of City of Lake Worth residency is required in order to obtain a voucher. The voucher must be presented at the ECC. The hours of operation of the ECC is Thursday/Friday from 11:00 am to 7:00 pm and Saturday 9:00 am - 3:00 pm (subject to change by the City of Ft Worth). The ECC is usually closed on Thanksgiving and Christmas holidays. Call the ECC at 817.871.5257 for other possible closings due to weather conditions, etc. or for questions regarding items allowed.
Vehicles for Veterans:
Vehicles for Veterans is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit vehicle donation program benefiting disabled veterans. You can help disabled veterans by donating a car, truck, boat, RV, ATV, or motorcycle, whether the vehicle runs or not. The program offers a simple alternative to selling or trading in your unwanted vehicle and provides you with free towing and a tax deduction.
