Director of Library Services

Lara Strother

Lara Strother has held the position of Library Director for the City of Lake Worth since November of 1998.  She previously worked at the Fort Worth Museum of Science and History as a Special Programs Assistant

Ms. Strother has a Bachelor’s degree in history from Texas Wesleyan University and a Master’s degree in Library and Information Studies from Texas Women's University in Denton. In her time away from work, Lara enjoys traveling the world, yoga, walking her miniature poodle Cozmo, and visiting with her family and friends.
