Brett E. McGuire
Brett McGuire has served on the Lake Worth Police Department for over ten years. Beginning as a Patrol Officer, he also served as a Sergeant, Lieutenant and Captain prior to being appointed Chief of Police. His background is in Police Patrol/Operations, but he also has experience in the Fire and EMS Service.
Brett attended Central Washington University in Ellensburg, WA., with a focus in Science and Pre-Hospital Medicine. He has also attended San Houston State University and is currently working towards a degree in Criminal Justice Administration. He is a 2002 graduate of the Law Enforcement Institute of Texas Leadership and Command College.
Along with his wife, Gail, and his two children, Brett lives on his small farm located west of Fort Worth. He enjoys working with animals as well as camping fishing and other outdoor activities.
