Planning and Zoning

The goal of Planning & Zoning Department staff is to promote the efficient and orderly development of private properties and businesses throughout the city. Staff prepares Planning & Zoning Commission and Board of Adjustment agendas, reviews subdivision plats, zoning cases and site plans.

Staff is available to provide assistance in answering questions and scheduling predevelopment meetings during the conceptual phases of planning a project, with feedback and comments during the formal review process, and with processing and scheduling cases to go before the Board of Adjustment, Planning & Zoning Commission and City Council.
