Chief J.T. Manoushagian

Chief J.T. Manoushagian

Chief Manoushagian is an 19-year law enforcement veteran who leads the men and women of the Lake Worth Police Department. Throughout his career, Chief Manoushagian has served in a variety of assignments to include K-9, criminal interdiction, DWI enforcement, administration and patrol. He is a master peace officer, former Drug Recognition Expert (DRE) and a current TCOLE instructor. Chief Manoushagian has a bachelor’s degree in Criminal Justice Administration and a master's degree in Criminal Justice and Criminology from Texas Christian University. Additionally, he holds a graduate certificate in Leadership, Executive and Administrative Development (LEAD) from Texas Christian University as well as a graduate certificate in Criminal Justice Education from the University of Virginia. Chief Manoushagian is a graduate of the FBI National Academy and the Law Enforcement Management Institute of Texas' Leadership Command College (LCC).

Chief Manoushagian is a United States Navy veteran, serving in both the enlisted and officer ranks (E-1 through O-3). In additional to his service to the Lake Worth community, Chief Manoushagian also serves on the Board of Directors for Alliance for Children, a child advocacy center serving the greater Tarrant area.

Support Services Commander - Joe Connolly
CDR Joe Connolly

Commander Connolly is a 33-year law enforcement veteran who began his career with the San Diego County Sheriff’s Department in California. Since then, Commander Connolly has risen through the ranks and served in a variety of assignments including detention, patrol, narcotics, training, criminal investigations and professional standards. Commander Connolly leads LWPD’s Support Service Division which includes criminal investigations, training, property and evidence, communications, the City Marshal’s Office, and records.

In 2007, Commander Connolly was awarded the purple heart and medal of valor for unselfish and meritorious action taken in the line of duty, which resulted in the saving of a young woman’s life.

Commander Connolly holds a bachelor’s degree in criminal justice from Columbia Southern University and is a graduate of the Institute for Law Enforcement Administration’s (ILEA) school of executive leadership. Additionally, Commander Connolly is a master peace officer and police instructor.  

Commander Connolly has been married to his wife for 35 years. Together they have two grown children and one grandchild. In his free time, Commander Connolly is an avid runner and enjoys spending time on his farm with his family.

Field Operations Commander - Landon Rollins

Commander Landon Rollins

A Lake Worth native, Commander Rollins began his law enforcement career over 19 years ago. He is a master peace officer, field training officer, certified instructor, crisis/hostage negotiator and a mental health peace officer. Over the course of his career, Landon has worked in a variety of assignments including patrol, vice, narcotics, and crisis intervention.

Commander Rollins is a highly decorated police officer. His awards include our state’s highest honors: the State of Texas medal of valor, State of Texas award for public service, Fort Worth PD Medal of Valor, and the American Police Hall of Fame silver star for bravery. He was named the 2017 Officer of the Year for Fort Worth PD, and has received a lifesaving award, 2 police commendation bars, 5 certificates of merit, and more than 50 written commendations over his career.

Commander Rollins has a bachelor's and master’s degree in criminal justice from Tarleton State University. He is also a graduate of the Law Enforcement Management Institute of Texas' Leadership Command College (LCC), Class #86 and is a recipient of the FBI-LEEDA Leadership Trilogy Award.

In addition to his service to the community of Lake Worth, Commander Rollins continues to serve our country at NAS Fort Worth, JRB (Carswell), in the United States Air Force Reserve.
