Mission Statement
The mission of the Lake Worth Fire Department is to serve our community with pride, honor, and integrity while providing exceptional customer service.
We remain focused on the preservation of life and property through effective emergency response, fire prevention, and public education.
From the Fire Chief
Thank you for visiting the City of Lake Worth Fire Department webpage. Our Fire Department provides both emergency and non-emergency services to the citizens and visitors of Lake Worth, the Town of Lakeside, and portions of unincorporated Tarrant County. We are proud to serve and provide the highest level of customer service to our customers. Our fire department is staffed by a Fire Chief, Assistant Chief of Operations, Assistant Chief of Prevention/Fire Marshal, Fire Inspector, Emergency Management Coordinator, and 21 professional career firefighters. Each shift is comprised of 1 Fire Captain, 1 Fire Lieutenant, 2 Driver/Engineers, and 3 Firefighters.
In addition to fire suppression and emergency medical services, we also offer fire prevention education programs to many groups throughout our community. These fire prevention programs not only engage public/private schools but also include businesses, non-profits, and other organizations throughout the community.
The Lake Worth Fire Department works diligently to ensure the safety and security of our residents and customers. Our fire personnel have made a commitment to education and training to the highest of standards. This helps us ensure efficient and effective delivery of both emergency and non-emergency services to our customers.
