Good Neighbors Program

The City of Lake Worth has launched a Good Neighbors Program that established grant funds for purposes of promoting local economic development activity within the city, which helps stabilize the ad valorem tax base directly impacting the economic development here in Lake Worth. In addition, the promotion of the redevelopment of existing housing stock in the city contributes to increased economic viability and the availability of quality housing encourages the relocation of businesses and attracts new enterprise and expansion.

The preservation and improvement of the housing stock is a major contributing factor to the economic health and growth of the City, which in turn stimulates trade and commerce, reduces unemployment, and contributes to the well-being and economic growth of the community.

The Lake Worth City Council approved Resolution No. 2022-14, adopting the Good Neighbors Program on September 20, 2022.
