Animal Problems?

Complaints After Hours:

Animal Control does not pick up animals after 5:00 pm unless it is deemed an emergency.

Below is an approved list of emergencies that Animal Control will respond to.

  • Animal Bites
  • Injured animals in public roadways
  • Wild animals endangering a person
  • Animals that are dead on public streets causing a traffic hazard
  • Skunks (During Daylight Hours)
  • Suspected rabid animals
  • Bats (During Daylight Hours)
  • Aggressive animals that are endangering other animals or persons
  • Snakes (venemous snakes only)
  • If an Officer has determined cruelty to an animal
  • An animal that is needing to be impounded due to an arrest or seizure will be transported by the Police Department unless animal is aggressive in nature
