Fort Worth Fire Dispatch Partnership

patch

Today the Saginaw and Lake Worth Fire Departments began receiving fire dispatch service from the Fort Worth Fire Department 911 dispatch center. Both departments were previously served by the Tarrant County Fire Alarm Center.

With a regional approach to service, the new partnership offers increased efficiencies and tremendous cost savings for the long term.

This change brings many enhancements and I want to assure our citizens that they will continue to experience a rapid and seamless process to summon aid to an emergency. We have been provided a tremendous opportunity to partner with the Fort Worth Fire Department for fire dispatch elevating the delivery of emergency services to our citizens. It is a great example of the fire service’s persistent commitment to combine efforts and resources where possible for the good of the communities we serve” states Saginaw Fire Chief Doug Spears.

These regional partnerships enhance the safety of our residents and firefighters”, states Fort Worth Fire Chief Jim Davis. “We are excited about what this means for the future and the ability to strengthen our relationships with other departments.”

"This is a great collaborative effort between the cities of Lake Worth, Saginaw, and Fort Worth to streamline emergency response. Our residents and visitors will continue to receive exceptional customer service. Efficient and effective delivery of this service will truly be enhanced" states Lake Worth Division Chief Ryan Arthur.
